New Northeast Washington Trends Website
by Trends Staff
The Institute for Public Policy is proud to announce the revival and relaunch of the Northeast Washington Trends website, which has been updated and improved to better serve the people of Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille counties. Northeast Washington trends is supported by Eastern Washington University, the Tri-County Economic Development District, and several other organizations to provide meaningful information to both local leaders and communities alike. With over 135 indicators focused on regional and county perspectives, Northeast Washington Trends is already proving to be a valuable resource in the area.
At an August meeting with the Tri-county Economic Development District board in Colville, Dr. Patrick Jones and Institute interns presented the newly updated website to government and industry leaders from across the region. Northeast Washington Trends has been designed to make vital data more accessible for decision-making, education, and community engagement.
The trends projects of The Institute provide valuable insights in areas such as population, economic vitality, education, and the environment, and serves thirteen counties, or roughly one-third of the state. Under the executive direction of Dr. Patrick Jones with the support of Dr. Kelley Cullen, the Institute for Public Policy and Economic Analysis has been serving Washington for over twenty years.
